I. Entrepreneurial Training Program
ETP helps entrepreneurs fulfill purpose, one class at a time
The BBF Entrepreneurial Training Program (ETP) is a Bible-based, resource-rich, business building class hosted by local churches and ministries, and led by successful Christian business owners and entrepreneurs dedicated to helping the next generation of Kingdom Companies succeed.
God has placed within the Body of Christ tremendous gifts, talents, witty inventions -- many of these visions can become viable businesses. The ETP will give aspiring entrepreneurs and/or current small business owners a supportive environment in which to explore their God-given business vision.
The BBF ETP is modeled after Jobs For Life, whose Mission is to engage and equip the Local Church to address the impact of joblessness through the dignity of work. By mobilizing a worldwide network of volunteers committed to applying biblically-based training and mentoring relationships, Jobs for Life helps those in need find dignity and purpose through meaningful work.
In much the same way, the ETP helps those with a business vision bring it to life and through it fulfill purpose, support a family and be of service to the Kingdom.
Interactive sessions guide participants through lessons and activities designed to provide a strong, Biblical and sound foundation upon which any business can grow and flourish.
There are two broad categories of outcomes for ETP: Soft Skills and Tangibles. Soft Skills are the core concepts, values, and beliefs that God has given as guidelines towards developing the character of a successful business owner. Each one is based upon the Word of God and can often be backed by specific scriptures. Tangibles are concrete components to help establish a good foundation for business. While Tangibles pertain exclusively to starting a business, Soft Skills can stand alone and benefit and serve participants in life, not just business. In the Entrepreneurial Training Program, both Soft Skills and Tangibles are taught side by side, during each session, complementing one another to provide a well-balanced experience.
Biz By Faith is currently recruiting participants, mentors and instructors for the upcoming Entrepreneurial Training Program class scheduled to run September through November 2016.
